On behalf of the entire staff at Region Center II, I would like to welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year. It is a unique honor and privilege to work with such a distinguished group of dedicated professionals whose number one goal is to provide the best possible learning experiences for the students we serve.

I am a strong believer in building strong feeder patterns, and I have high expectations for the ongoing alignment of the educational landscape, and the collaboration that will take place among administrators. Through this vehicle, and with the support and guidance of regional center staff, we will intensify our focus of support and create opportunities to provide every student a superior education.

At a time of ever growing scrutiny and accountability, we must be willing to face challenges that are inherent in the current educational environment with greater efficiency and effectiveness. We must recognize that in order to continue to improve the academic achievement level of our students, an increase in the quality of services, support, and monitoring are necessary from both school site administrators and region staff. Please be assured that, together, we will share this enormous responsibility to ensure that our students reach their highest potential.

Please know that as you prepare for the upcoming school year, you will always have my respect and appreciation for your commitment to excellence for your school.
